Life Story for Mollena Franklin

Mollena Harriet Franklin returned to her Lord on Friday, August 3, 2012 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on October 9, 1919 in Camas, Washington to Edwin and Anna (Brunner) Strunk; Mollena was 92 years old.

A lifetime Camas resident; Mollena attended Camas High School and was a member of the Fern Prairie United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons Jim (Roberta) Franklin of Camas, Ben (Donna) Franklin of Camas, and Don
(Kathy) Franklin of Rainier, Washington; brothers Johnny Strunk of Brush Prairie, Washington and Albert Strunk of White Salmon, Washington; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years Richard Franklin, brother Herman Strunk, and sisters Marie Rust, Katherine Williams, and Elsie Tucker; and two grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service for Mollena on Wednesday, August 8th at 1:00 pm at the Fern prairie Cemetery in Camas. Memorials in Mollena’s honor may be sent to the Fern Prairie United Methodist Church: PO Box 626 Camas, WA 98607. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
