Maxine Winifred Slatter passed away on February 6, 2015. She was 95 years old.
Maxine was born on November 8, 1919 to her parents Frank and Della Kappert in Wenatchee, Washington. She has been a Washougal resident since 1942, and was a member of the Washougal Church of the Nazarene.
Maxine is survived by her daughter Anita M. Wiltfong of Camas, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Roy B. Mattfeld, her 2nd husband O. F. Slatter, and her son, Ronald R. Mattfeld.
At her request, there will be no services. Those who wish may make a contribution in Maxine’s name to the American Cancer Society.
