Herman Ernest Bartz, age 96, passed away on March 30, 2015.
Herman was born to his parents Ernest and Emma Weber on September 3, 1918 in Coleharbor, North Dakota. He worked as an office manager in the Chemical Manufacturing industry. Herman has been a member of the Washougal community for the past 4 years, and was previously of Richmond, California. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and games, sports, and spending time with his family.
Herman is survived by his two daughters: Cynthia (husband John) Burgess and Jocelyn (husband Anthony) Aldridge; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and his sister Ruby Stephenson. He was preceded in death by his wife Marguerite and his granddaughter Katie.
A celebration of Herman’s life will take place Friday, April 3, 2015 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Washougal at 2 PM.
