Donald Lee Waite, age 90 of Washougal, passed away on January 11, 2016.
Donald was born on May 14, 1925 in Kirksville, Missouri, to his parents Clyde and Marjorie Waite. He was a WWII Navy Veteran who fought in Iwo Jima & Okinawa, and was a member of VFW Bennet-Barnett Post #4278. Don was a 30 year resident of Washougal, formerly of Council Bluff, Iowa. Don enjoyed hunting small game and golfing, and his family will always remember his one hole-in-one in Council Bluff.
He is survived by his wife Jewel Waite, his son Michael (wife Linda), his daughter Donna Jo Stevens, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his first wife Josephine, his son Dennis, and his brothers Robert, Harold, and James.
