Jeffrey Nelson Troup died April 3, 2016. He was 59 years old. He was born on June 20, 1956 to Alice Hardy and Jack Troup, in Dayton, Ohio. A Camas resident since 1996, Jeff worked as a web designer where he invested his heart and soul into Ariel Ministries. He was actively involved with the Portland Lindy Society and Stumptown Dance. He enjoyed dancing, singing, and loved helping others. He was very active, and loved the outdoors. He had a talent for woodwork and was exceptionally smart. He loved to research things. Most of all, he loved his family and the Lord. He was an honorable man of integrity. He is survived by his three daughters: Danielle Troup, Michelle (Troup) Heuvel, Gabrielle (Troup) Sharratt; son-in-laws: Andrew Heuvel and Randy Sharratt; his granddaughter Tegan Sharratt; his parents Stephen and Alice Hardy; sisters Lois Troup and Julie Hardy; brother Tom Hardy; and his long time friend and sweetheart Anna DuDash. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his Wife Nia in 2009. There will be no public services at the request of his family. Arrangements are under the care of Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas.
