Obituary of Forrest Earl Miller

Forrest Earl Miller, age 87 of Camas, passed away on December 13, 2016. Forrest was born on July 10, 1929 to his biological parents Edna and Roy Dilly in Bismark, North Dakota and was adopted by A.J. and Elanor Miller. He was a nearly lifetime resident of Camas, graduating from Camas High School in 1948. He worked for Crown Zellerbach & James River Paper Mill until his retirement. Forrest was also involved with Silver Star Search and Rescue, the Twin City Roller & Trailor Club. Forrest was a 25 year volunteer firefighter for fire district #9. Survivors include his sons: Michael (Vickie) Miller, Pat Miller, Joe (Diane) Miller, and Tim (Bobbi) Miller; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and his brother Kenny Hays. Forrest was preceded in death by his wife Marie Miller, his daughter Judy, his brothers Gene and Marvin, and his sister Hazel. A celebration of Forrest's life will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 11 AM at Brown's Funeral Home, a graveside service at Fern Prairie Cemetery, followed by a reception at NorthLake Church.
