Wednesday, January 17, 2018I am so sorry I could not come to your mom's service yesterday. Alice was always such a lovely, kind, hard working woman. My dad always appreciated her when working on campaigns together because he could count on Alice to do what she said she'd do and do it well. She will be sorely missed.

Friday, January 12, 2018Alice and I attended Washougal school and graduated in the same class. She was always friendly and strived to be a good student. We had fun "acting" in school plays and I can remember one melodrama where she took the lead part as Little Nell. After that my father always called her Little Nell instead of Alice. We lived in the same neighborhood but didn't run around together as she had other interests such as a guy named Skeeter. She was always a kind girl.
