Obituary of Willis Lemmon

Willis Emerson Lemmon passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in Vancouver, Washington. Born on December 13, 1917 in Ogden, Utah, Willis was 89 years old. Willis worked in the Beater Room for Crown Zellerbach before his retirement. A Camas resident since 1954, Willis was also a Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing up at Swift Creek, camping, making wooden whistles, and feeding his animals including his ducks. Willis is survived by his sons George Lemmon of Poulsbo, Washington, Douglas Kinsman of Long Beach, California, and Jim Kinsman of Vancouver, daughters Karen Kinsman of Vancouver, and Anne Passant of Camas, sister Rosemary Teadleman of Oregon City, Oregon, half-sister Betty Jo Eldredge of Montana, brother Dick Dutsen of Oregon, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Willis on Sunday, March 4th at 2:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas with full military honors. Inurnment will take place at the Camas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
