Anna Marie Pierce peacefully passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007 at her home in Camas. Born on April 20, 1950 in Vancouver, Anna was 56 years old.
Anna graduated from Clark College School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for Tuality Community Hospital prior to her retirement. While working, she was involved in numerous nursing associations, most notably the Healing Touch International and National Lymphedema Network and Nutrition Education organizations. Outside of work, Anna enjoyed gardening, custom cars, and relaxing at the Oregon Coast.
Anna is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years Les of Camas, daughter Roxanna Rico of Vancouver, son Erran Pierce of Vancouver, mother Irma Desler, and brother Dewey Desler both of Bellingham, WA, sisters Jean Caltagirone of Battle Ground, and Carol Anderson of Salem, Oregon, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Clayton Ray Pierce in 1980.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Anna on Friday, March 23rd at 2:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Private vault interment will take place at the Camas Cemetery. Memorials in Anna's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
