Clarence Willis Lewis peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2007 in Vancouver. Born on March 14, 1912 in Maramec, Oklahoma, Clarence was 95 years old.
A Former 20 year resident of Berryville, Arkansas, Clarence had been living in Camas since 1991. He worked as a carpenter and in retail, and was known for his adoration of horses. His wife Elaine and he were also members at St. John's Presbyterian Church in Camas.
Clarence is survived by his sons Jimmy R. Lewis of Montrose, Colorado, and Daniel J. Lewis of Rochester Hills, Michigan, daughters Donna Fisher of Vancouver, and Esther Peden of Lincoln, California, sister Viola G. Banes of Graford, Texas, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Elaine M. Lewis in 2006, and his sister Flossy Mae Heidelbaugh.
There will be a celebration of life service for Clarence on Wednesday, April 25th at 11:00 am at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 12-5:00 pm at the chapel. Vault interment will be held at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
