It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Donaldson, a man of great humor, kindness, and loyalty, whose light shone brightly in the lives of everyone he knew. Born on October 29, 1970, Kevin's life was sadly cut short when he passed away on August 27, 2025.

Kevin leaves behind his 4 children (Cassie Doern (Donaldson), Gabriel Morris (Donaldson), Jillian Donaldson, Laurelei Donaldson) and 3 grandchildren (Caiden Samwel, TJ Doern, Maddie Doern) whom he was very close to and loved very much. He also is survived by his beloved partner, Shannon Van Horn (and her 2 children), who shared in many wonderful memories and cherished moments. He was part of a very close knit family and his 5 siblings (Vicky Stewart, Diana Youtsey, Brian Sullivan, Eric Van Norden, Lori Greenlee) will miss him greatly. His departure leaves a void in many hearts, but his indomitable spirit and humor resonate in the memories of those he left behind. He was predeceased by his parents (Don & June Donaldson) and his daughter (Cheyenne Morris (Donaldson)) that he is sure to be overjoyed to see in heaven now.

Known for his fun and caring nature, Kevin was a good friend and a loyal companion to many. His life was filled with lessons of not taking life too seriously, staying loyal, and being a supportive friend. His wisdom and warmth touched folks from all walks of life and his legacy will continue to thrive through the many lives he impacted.

Kevin attained several great accomplishments in his lifetime. Chief among them, he was a wonderful father, a loving partner, and a caring coworker. As a testament to his leadership and camaraderie, Kevin held the esteemed title of Guild President at work, a role cherished by him and his peers. He made many friends while he worked at Clark County over 27 years.

His legacy is one of kindness, hard work, loyalty, integrity, love, and friendship. Kevin will be sorely missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and his D&D groups. His absence will be felt, but his memory lives on in the hearts of those whose lives he brightened.
