Ann Daniels Obituary

Anna Lee (Ann) Daniels

September 16, 1938-February 21, 2026

On February 21, 2026, Ann Daniels passed away in Vancouver, Washington, after a long illness. She was 87 years old.

Ann was born in Pottersville, Missouri, on September 16, 1938, to Vesta Beatrice and Richard Monroe Edmonds. She was the youngest of three children.

Ann attended high school in San Jose, California, and was a seamstress most of her career. For more than 50 years, she worked in a variety of textile factories, including a shoe factory in Mansfield, Missouri; H.D. Lee in Hartville and Seymour, Missouri; and Select Designs in Wolf Creek, Oregon. She designed her own patterns, sewed beautiful clothes for her children and grandchildren, and crocheted intricate blankets and Afghans as gifts for friends and family.

Family was the center of Ann’s life. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and go on long drives to the Oregon Coast with her daughter.

Ann is survived by her oldest daughter, Cheryl Landes of Vancouver, Washington; granddaughter and husband Christina and Adrian Petrisor of Portland, Oregon; grandson and wife Adam Yon and Rainie Rebitzke of Bend, Oregon; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Her parents; two brothers, Elvin and Carl Edmonds; and youngest daughter, Julie Forno; preceded her in death.

A private memorial service will be held.
