Edward Patrick Blake passed away at home on Thursday, April 6, 2006 in Washougal. Born on July 20, 1963 in Hollywood, CA, Edward was 42 years old.
Edward attended Holy Name Seminary in Madison, WI. He then worked for a family construction business with Frank Crawford and Sons, before being employed for Hewlett-Packard, Wafertech, and Autumn Chase Apartments as a maintenance engineer. He was a combat-medic veteran of the US Army Reserves, and was going to join the American Red Cross. He enjoyed golf, bowling, pool, darts, camping with the family, avid movie buff, avid Green Bay Packers fan, and a humanitarian who loved his family and his Lord.
Edward is survived by his wife of 21 years Gloria at home, daughters Kelli Blake at home, and Rachel Blake of Vancouver, son Edward Patrick Blake II at home, mother Patsy Farrell of Madison, WI, sisters Ashley Reeves of Highland, WI, Kim Farrell of Sun Prairie, WI, and Katie Hawkins of Madison, WI, brother Tony Farrell of Eugene, Oregon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a Rosary on Sunday, April 9th at 7:00 pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, April 10th at 1:00 pm at the church with a reception to follow. Pallbearers are Edward Patrick Blake II, Anthony G. Farrell, Frank Crawford, Troy Yonce, Christopher Yonce, James Birkeland, and Honorary Pallbearers are Russell Davis, and Brian Curtis. Viewing will be held on Sunday from 12-5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. A memorial in Edward's honor for his children is being set up for the family. Donations can be made at any US Bank.
