Gunda Marie Rink passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. Born on August 25, 1936 to Sigurd and Josephine (Jacobson) Brandt; Gunda was 74 years old. A lifetime Washougal resident, Gunda graduated from Washougal High School in 1954. She was a member of the Camas Moose Lodge #1492 and served in all chairs for the lodge. She enjoyed yard work, painting, knitting, and her family. Most importantly Gunda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and watching them at their sporting events. Gunda is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Claude Clausen at home; daughter Debbie Dorn of Vancouver, sons Mike Rink of Washougal, and Kent Rink of Vancouver, brother Sivert Brandt of Washougal, sister Dorothy Brown of Port Angeles, WA; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Lawrence Rink and sister Jennie Marple. There will be a celebration of Gunda's life on Friday, March 11th at 12:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held on Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Vault interment will be held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
