Gene Harold Pearson Sr. peacefully passed away at his care home in Vancouver on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Born on April 20, 1920 in Lafollette, Tennessee to Charles and Blanche (Francisco) Pearson; Gene was 91 years old.
A Washougal resident since 2007, Gene worked as an Engineer in the Aeronautical Industry. He was a Veteran of the United States Army during World War II and was honorably discharged on June 13, 1946 as a 2nd Lieutenant.
Gene is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 71 years Barbara of Washougal; daughter Linda Ann Powell of Washougal; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Gene Harold Pearson Jr.
There will be no public services. Private interment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
