Donald Allen Lewis peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at his home in Camas with his family at his side. Born on June 20, 1929 in Centralia, Washington to Thomas L. and Grace Belle (Travis) Lewis; Don was 82 years old. A Clark County resident for the last 37 years; Don was a former owner of a Western Auto in Yreka, California. He also worked as a truck driver in the tire industry, was a logger, and sold life insurance and mutual funds. Don was a member of Lacamas Heights Baptist Church in Camas and a member of the Teamsters Union. Don is survived by his loving wife Verna Lewis at home; daughters Lenora Robinson of Camas, Della Dornan of Salem, Oregon, Anita Harrison of Shelton, Washington, Jilliana Mann of Spanaway, Washington, Margaret Walker of Ontario, Oregon, Debra Foster of Terrebonne, Oregon, and Sandra Oberg of Sunny Valley, Oregon; son Herbert Hagner of Ontario, Oregon; eighteen grandchildren, and thirteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marjorie Lewis in 1995. There will be a celebration of Don's life on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Lacamas Heights Baptist Church: 3717 NE 3rd Avenue; Camas, WA 98607. Vault interment will be held at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Memorials in Don's honor may be sent to the Lacamas Heights Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
