Leah Mae Barlow peacefully passed away with her family by her side at her home in Camas on Saturday, November 26, 2011. Born on March 28, 1930 in Portland, Oregon to Irvin and Blanche (Brouillard) Drake; Leah was 81 years old. A lifetime Camas-Washougal resident; Leah was a graduate of Washougal High School in 1947. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, gardening, and yard work. Most importantly, Leah enjoyed spending time with her family. Leah is survived by her son Brian (Jeannie) Barlow of Washougal; daughters Brenda Matson of Camas and Traci Barlow of Camas; brother Mark Schell of Montana; granddaughters Breanna Barlow and Heather Matson; and special friend Cindy Bucknell of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years Jack Barlow in 1979; sister Janice Brown-Boehm in 2009; and brother Robert Drake in 2010. There will be an open house reception on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home: 410 NE Garfield St. Camas, WA 98607. Dress attire is casual. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
