Mary Peery Daniels was born on November 9, 1922 in Camas, Washington where she lived most of her life. She passed away November 17, 2006 in Vancouver, Washington where she had been living for the last five years in an adult foster care at Lidi's Best Care Home. Not only was Mary a wife and mother, she also was very active in her community. Mary served as president of Columbia River Girl Scout Council and was active in Girl Scouting in many capacities over the years. She also had served on the Board of Directors at Southwest Washington Medical Center along with many other volunteer activities. Mary is survived by her son, Kim Peery, and daughters Christine (Steve) Dodd and Marilyn Rasmussen. Her source of great joy was her grandchildren, Wilson, Leigh, and Alex Peery, Rob Adams, Erica Adams Gantt, Jason Dodd, Mary Rasmussen, and Mindy Rasmussen Radtke. Mary is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Dawson Adams, Alex Gantt, Mattie Gantt, Tyler Radtke, and Ella Radtke. Mary was preceded in death by her husbands Robert W. Peery in 1978 and David H. Daniels in 1994. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Southwest, PO Box 1600, Vancouver, WA 98668 or St. John's Presbyterian Church Bell Choir, 1206 NE Birch, Camas, WA 98607. A family service will be held in the future. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremations Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
