Obituary of Katherine Beaver

Katherine Elizabeth Beaver peacefully passed away on Friday, December 15, 2006 at her home in Washougal. Born on October 22, 1915 in Washougal, Katherine was 91 years old. Katherine worked at home as a homemaker. She enjoyed baking and cooking and giving her homemade cookies to people. Most of all, she loved her family, and especially her grandchildren. Katherine is survived by her sons Richard (Alice) Beaver of Vancouver, and Kenny (Pat) Beaver of Camas, and daughter Bev (Gary) Hatzenbeler of Washougal, seven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Beaver in 1986. There will be a private family graveside service at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. There will be an open house on Saturday, December 23rd at the Washougal Community Center from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice Southwest or to the American Heart Association. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
