I am from the Dondero Class of 1964. Mrs Quenneville was one of the few gym teachers that realized that not everyone was good at field hockey and girls basketball. Thank God for the 10 week sections with Modern Dance and acrobatics. She is fondly remembered Kathy Ochs

Mrs. Quenville was reputed for being a great phys ed teacher. While, I did not have her as a teacher, swimming came to mind when I saw today's Free Press. Several of my friends (Dondero class of 1963) excelled in swimming, because of Mrs. Quenville - and went on to become employed in synchronized swimming, in Florida. Perhaps, due to scheduling, I did not have the fortune of placement in Mrs. Quenville's class. Mrs. Quenville was a wonderful and talented woman. I will always be remember her and am proud that she taught at Dondero. Cheryl Warren, Dondero, class of 1963

I was fortunate to have had Mrs. Quenneville as a teacher in the sixties. Her students were fond of her because she was friendly and respectful, and it does not surprise me to learn that she later taught yoga, since she incorporated certain "mindful" techniques in her exercise (we called it calisthenics) class even back then, which I remember and use to this day. I feel blessed that she was a part of my life. ~ Marilyn St.John, class of 1967

For me Mrs. Quennville was a very important person at Dondero. I was a member of her swim team and her water ballet group. Whatever our strengths or our weakenesses Mrs. Quennville gave us the chance to be the best that we could be. I have thought of her fondly my entire adult life. My condolences and best wishes to her family. Diane Martin Hoffman Class of 1963

Through four years of water ballet at Dondero, Mrs. Quenneville was a very important and influential part of my life. I have thought of her with great fondness over the years. Almost ten years ago, when four Dondero friends gathered to celebrate our 50th birthdays, we floated in a lake and proved that we could still manage the water ballet moves that Mrs. Quenneville taught us. This year at 60 I will do the same thing! Erica Swanson Lindow Dondero Class of 1965
