Rose Mary Blackwell peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007 in Vancouver. Born on March 21, 1922 in Houston, Texas, Rose was 84 years old. Rose worked as a Registered Nurse prior to her retirement. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and Heron Lake Golf Club. She attended numerous nursing groups and enjoyed reading. Rose is survived by her daughters Terry Blackwell of Vancouver, Diane Blackwell of Vancouver, Jeanenne Dodge of Albany, Oregon, and Sharon Blackwell-Brown of Vancouver, sisters Helen Owens of Spring, Texas, and Agnes Watson of Kerville, Texas, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Charles M. Blackwell in 1981. A Celebration of Life Service was held on March 12th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
