Orvel James Tibbetts passed away on Friday, April 13, 2007 in Washougal. Born on November 16, 1938 in Union Gap, Washington, Orvel was 68 years old.
A Veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, Orvel worked as a carpenter throughout his life. He lived the past ten years in Washougal, and was a member of the A.A.R.P.
Orvel is survived by his son James G. of Seattle, daughters Tamera Duke of Burien, WA, Kristalee Tibbetts of Seattle, Cynthia Hornbuckle of Bonney Lake, WA, Connie Doll of Burien, WA, and Tracy Tibbetts of Renton, WA, brothers Elvin Robert Tibbetts of The Philippines, Cecil Willie Tibbetts of Tigard, Oregon, and Reed Douglas Tibbetts of Texas, sister Patricia Nadine Spearman of Camas, and ten grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life graveside service with military honors for Orvel on Friday, April 20th at 12:00 pm at the Camas Cemetery.
Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
