Marie Vanderbie Obituary

Marie Vanderbie, recently of Camas, Washington, died Tuesday at Highland Terrace Nursing Center in Camas, of natural causes. She was 94. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gig Harbor, Washington, where she was a long-time resident. She will be buried next to her first husband of 53 years, Joe Hall, at Mt. View Cemetery in Tacoma, Washington. Mrs. Vanderbie was born in Elma, Washington, to Nellie and Dawson Boling and had one sister and three brothers. She was the last survivor. Mrs. Vanderbie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Hall, and her son, Joseph O. Hall. She is survived by her second husband of 22 years, Wendell Vanderbie of Iowa, a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Dennis Harvey of Camas, five granddaughters and twelve great-grandchildren. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
