Darlene Mary Dalling passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 7:15 pm in Vancouver. Born on November 21, 1953 in Hood River, Oregon to John and Edna Dillon, Darlene was 53 years old.
Darlene worked as a tester for Fort James Paper Mill in Camas. Her love of cooking and feeding anyone and everyone led to her having the nickname "The Neighborhood Mom", but to her family she was known as "Dusty."
Darlene is survived by her fiancé Shawn Bromley, sons Dan Grimani Jr. of Washougal, Shayne Grimani of Washougal, Zach Dalling of Hawaii, and Robert Dalling of Washougal, daughter Stanelle Bishop of Washougal, brothers John Dillon of Vancouver, and Beau "Huston" Dillon of Stevenson, and sisters Edna Seaman of Carson, Alice Prince of Camas, and Lilly Kahl of Portland.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Darlene on Saturday, April 28th at 1:30 pm at the Camas Assembly of God Church in Camas. Interment will take place at the Old Carson Cemetery in Carson, Washington. Memorials in Darlene's memory may be made to the LaCamas Community Credit Union: 236 NE 4th Ave, Camas, WA 98607.
