Obituary of Beulah Meredith

Beulah "Bea" Marie Meredith peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, Washington. Born on April 3, 1932 in Fayette, Iowa to Joshua and Agnes O. (Harden) Green; Bea was 78 years old. A Vancouver resident since 1956; Bea previously lived in Iowa. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Vancouver, and worked as a volunteer for the Evergreen School District. Bea enjoyed crosswords, flowers, cooking, gardening, and knitting. Most of all, Bea enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Bea is survived by her daughter Carol McCleerey of Depot Bay, Oregon; sons Mark (Sheri) Meredith of Vancouver, Patrick Meredith of Vancouver, Don Meredith of Vancouver, and Steve Meredith of Portland, Oregon; sister Laure Belle Demuth of Jessup, Iowa; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of thirty seven years Donald Meredith in 1991; son Michael Meredith in 1990; brother James Green; and sisters Sue Doland, Martha Bullock, and Betty Blue. There will be no public services per Bea's request. Memorials in Bea's honor may be sent to the American Diabetes Association: 380 SE Spokane Street, Suite 110; Portland, OR 97202. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
