Jane Casterline Cushman peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Waterford at Fairway Village in Vancouver, Washington. Born on March 14, 1924 in Ithaca, New York to Julius and Laura (Norton) Casterline; Jane was 87 years old.
Jane is survived by her sons John F. Cushman Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Robert H. Cushman of Boring, Oregon; daughter Joan N. Shorter of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren Richard Nadeau, Pamela Teti, Michael Nadeau, Dustin Cushman, and Thomas Cushman; and great-grandchildren Kayli Freund, Jake Teti, Ella Nadeau, and Keedan Nadeau. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John F. Cushman in 1998.
There will be a celebration of Jane's life on Friday, May 13th at 10:00 am at the Waterford at Fairway Village: 2909 Village Loop; Vancouver, WA 98683. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
