Ida Betker-Olson passed away with her sister Lorraine Young , her three children, nephew and grandchildren at her side in Vancouver WA. Ida was born February 4th, 1914 in Portland, Oregon to Lewis and Loretta Chard. She had one sister Lorraine Young of Madras, Oregon and one brother Alvin Chard deceased. Ida married Gustave Betker August 4, 1935. They had three children Donald Betker of Lilliwaup WA, Robert Betker of Payson, Arizona and Loretta Thurman of West Richland WA. Ida was a florist in the Vancouver/Washougal area for many years. Ida and her husband Gus owned Betker's Evergreen flowers and Washougal Flower Shop. She loved her flowers. She will be greatly missed and in our hearts for ever. Ida was preceded in death by her husband Gus of 45 years. She is survived by her sons, Donald Betker and Robert Betker, daughter Loretta Thurman, her sister Lorraine Young and numerous nieces and nephews. Ida had 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Viewing date: Tuesday June 19th 10am-5pm and Wednesday June 20th 9am-5pm at Browns Funeral Home 410 NE Garfield St. Camas, WA 98607. Rosary is Wednesday June 20th at 8pm. Funeral Mass is Thursday June 21st at 11a.m. both at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, WA. Sign the online guestbook at www.brownsfh.com.
