Obituary of Demetria Gray

Demetria "Dee" Gray peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Vancouver. Born on February 8, 1924 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Dee was 83 years old. Dee worked as a homemaker, and was an active member of Lackamas Chapter #152 O.E.S. She is survived by her nieces Teri McCrary of Camas and Dena Williams of Woodland, brothers Pete Gillas of Vancouver and John Gillas of Bend, Oregon, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years Gordon Gray in 2005. The family would like to send a special thanks to Elizabeth Eneas and the staff at Peaceful Meadows for taking care of Dee for the last two and a half years. There will be a Celebration of Life Service with O.E.S. Rites on Saturday, July 14th at 3:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Viewing will be held on Friday from 10-5:00 pm at the Chapel. Private vault interment will take place at the Camas Cemetery. Memorials in Dee's honor may be made to the Order of Eastern Star: 615 North St SE Tumwater, WA 98513. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
