Carol Agnes Rhode peacefully passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011 at her home in Camas with her family by her side. Born on June 23, 1939 in Portland, Oregon to Harry and Agnes (Hulisz) Jensen; Carol was 72 years old.
A lifetime Camas-Washougal resident, Carol graduated from Washougal High School in 1957. On September 13, 1958 she married the love of her life Kenneth Rhode. She went to work as a bookkeeper in the sheet metal industry until retiring. She was baptized through the First Christian Church and enjoyed quilting, knitting, puzzles, and bbqs with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years Kenneth at home; daughter Lorinda Lee Rhode of Washougal; sons Steven Kenneth Rhode of Washougal; brother Arnold H. (Myrta) Jensen of Newberg, Oregon; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
There will be no public services. Private vault interment will be held at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
