Obituary of Helen McClure

Helen "Pat" Marion McClure peacefully passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 at Highland Terrace Nursing Home in Camas. Born on October 9, 1920 in Burlington, Vermont to William Henry and Helen Lillian (Clark) Brady; Pat was 90 years old. A Camas-Vancouver resident since 1944, Pat was the owner and operator of the Antique Store McShamrock for nineteen years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Vancouver and once attended Mass with Pope John Paul II. Also an avid fan of glass ware, Pat was often told she was a "glass act." She will be missed by all who knew her. Pat is survived by her son Irv McClure of Dole Valley, Washington, Matthew McClure of Vancouver, Washington, and Con (Deb) McClure of Dole Valley, Washington; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years Irving McClure in 2003; sister Nora Keenan; and brother Dan Brady. There will be a graveside service for Pat on Friday, September 16th at 11:00 am at the Fern Prairie Cemetery in Camas. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
