Obituary of Linda Gardiner

Linda Joyce Gardiner peacefully passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at her home in Camas after a courageous battle against Lou Gehrig 's disease. Born on February 17, 1948 in Oakland, California to Andrew and Marjorie (King) Siwek; Linda was 63 years old. A Camas resident since 1970; Linda was a member of the Women's L.O.O.M. of Camas Lodge #1042. She enjoyed shopping, camping, foster care, and was an avid fan of going on cruises. Most of all Linda enjoyed being around her family and close friends. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 33 years George at home; daughters Tina Marie Hvass of Camas and Emily Renee Gardiner of Camas; son Michael Neblock Jr. of Camas; mother Marjorie Siwek of Camas; brothers Jon Siwek and Steve Siwek; and sister Patricia Miller; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Andrew Siwek and brother Robert Siwek. There will be a graveside service for Linda on Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 am at the Camas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's honor may be sent to Hospice SW. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
