Barbara Jean Thurlow peacefully passed away at her home in Washougal on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Born on December 2, 1927 in Camas, Washington to Ernest H. and Cecile J. (Horn) Steinmeyer; Barbara was 83 years old.
A Clark County resident for the last 79 years, Barbara had lived in Washougal for the last 33 years. She was a member of the Camas Assembly of God Church, and ejoyed being around her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband Herbert Thurlow at home; daughter Bonnie Thurlow of Vancouver; son Ron (Carla) Thurlow of Spokane Valley, Washington; brothers Howard (Pauline) Steinmeyer of Folcroft, Pennsylvania, and Lyle (Bonnie) Steinmeyer of Boise, Idaho; and sisters Delores (Don) Crodle of Issaquah, Washington, and Marge Pelletier of Vancouver, Washington.
There will be a celebration of Barbara's life on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Camas Assembly of God Church in Camas. Interment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
