Obituary of John W. K. McGregor

John Wallace Kotoski McGregor of Washougal, WA passed away on December 10, 2014. He was 86 years old. John was born on January 15, 1928 to his parents in Winlock, Washington. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army, and spent 25+ years as an Auto Painter at Todd’s Auto Body in Vancouver. His work there was very important to him, and even after having suffered a stroke, Todd’s took him back to work and helped him to rehabilitate. John gave back to his community by volunteering at the VA rehab center, helping to encourage others who were in recovery. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. John leaves behind his wife of 13 years, Marilyn L. McGregor, his three children Jeffrey McGregor, Jerolyn Soldahl, and Carolyn Wing, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of John’s life on Wednesday, December 17 at 1 PM at Brown’s Funeral Home, with a burial to follow at Park Hill Cemetery.
