A. Jean Moszeter passed away on December 12, 2014. She was 88 years old.
Jean was born on April 12, 1926 in Yakima, Washington, to her parents Granville and Elizabeth Laws. She was a 55 year resident of Camas, and a member of the Camas-Washougal Soroptimist Club, as well as a Camas-Washougal port commissioner, a member of Woman of The Moose lodge #1492, and a Camas school board member. She worked many years as a secretary in the Camas school district. She was known and liked by many, and will be missed greatly.
Jean leaves behind her daughter Jeanette Moszeter of Vancouver, Washington, and two brothers, Morgan and Lyle Laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Moszeter, son Jock Moszeter, and two sisters, June Frazier and Jackie Huggett.
At her request, there will be no services. Those who wish may make a donation in Jean’s name to the Camas-Washougal Soroptimist Club, or to the West Columbia George Humane Society.
