Obituary of Ivan Lowell Belyea

Ivan Lowell Belyea passed away on January 13, 2015. He was 76 years old.
Ivan was born to his parents, Chas and Mabelle Belyea on September 3, 1938 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He enlisted as a naval aviator in the U.S. Navy, where he rose to the ranks of Captain, and then worked in his civilian life at Boeing, Lear Siegler, Flir Systems, and World Trax in the aviation technology industry. Ivan was passionate about flying and was a member of the Camas Washougal Aviation Association. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Elks and enjoyed square dancing, technology and computers, boating, sailing (and yes, there is a difference!), traveling and fishing in Key West. Ivan was a 12 year resident of Clark County, and had lived all over the country.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Marion, daughters Jo (husband Glenn) Doerrman, and Jaclin Belabri, son Jay Belyea, grandchildren Charles, Elizabeth, Jaslin, and Jaela, and his two sisters Dawn (Dick) Ridley and Kaye Lou (Jerome) Spencer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ivan’s life will take place on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas at 2 PM.
