Obituary of Ada Louise Spencer

Ada Louise Spencer went home to be with Jesus on April 16, 2015. She was 60 years old. Ada was born to her parents Floyd and Helen Shetler on April 4, 1955. Ada was a 38 year resident of Vancouver, and closely involved in the Women’s Ministry at Crossroads Community Church and singing in local nursing homes. She was always very loving to her husband and family with whom she shared a joy of music, photography, art, her grandchildren, and extended family. Ada is survived by her husband of 41 years Tom Spencer, her father Floyd Shetler, three sons: Ben (Ashley) Spencer, David (Kat) Spencer, Matthew (Angelina) Spencer, 5 grandchildren (Madison, Zachary, Brynnley, Kira and Grady Spencer), 5 brothers: Rex (Lilly) Shetler, Max (Linda) Shetler, Tex Shetler, Lee (Sue) Shetler and Roy (Amy) Shetler, 3 sisters: Fay (Skip) Hatheway, Eva (Bill) Rayon, and Amy (Darrell) Richards, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Helen, and her sister Ann. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 27 2015 at 10 AM, with a celebration of life service to follow at Crossroads Community Church at 1 PM.
