Obituary of Eleanor Clarice Schneider

Eleanor Clarice Schneider passed away on May 10, 2015. She was 87 years old. Eleanor was born on September 19, 1927 to her parents Thorwald and Mary Lunde. A 20 year resident of Vancouver (and formerly of Camas), Eleanor was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and enjoyed being a part of the Women’s Guild, volunteering at the Camas/Washougal Treasure House, as well as playing Pinochle. She was a homemaker, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Eleanor is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edward Schneider at home, three daughters: Louanne (Husband Ben) Atherley of Kettle Falls; Susan (Husband Willy) Kelly of Vancouver, and Julie Wilcox of Vancouver; two sons: Michael Schneider of Stevenson, and Paul (Wife Cheryl) Schneider of Camas; 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and her sister Bertha Lunde, of Milwaukie, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore Lunde. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Tuesday, May 19 at 11 AM. Final Inurnment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown’s Funeral Home.
