I never think of my brother without thinking of Mason. To me, Park City in the early 60's was defined by that dynamic pair. It was 50 years ago this month that my brother died and not much later that Mason got severely injured. Given what Park City became over the last 50 years it is hard to imagine what they could have accomplished without misfortune.
Darlene, I also have very vivid memories of Ace and Alice since in the early fifties they were running Pop Jenks uptown and my mother worked there. My Dad was working in Arizona and Blaine was in the service so I hung out there all the time playing the Baseball pinball machine. I think i also remember going with my Mom and Dad to your wedding reception at the Memorial Bldg. Identical twins fascinated me.
Given that I knew Mason for a short period of time and remember him so well, I am sure he has touched the lives of many people and that he most surely had a life worth celebrating.
I wish you and your family and the Smith family well.
