Obituary of Edward Frederic Koester
Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edward F. Koester peacefully passed away on May 27, 2015, with family at his side. Born in Vancouver, Washington, in 1934, Ed graduated from Washington State University in 1956 with a major in civil engineering. He retired as president of his engineering firm, KH2A, in 1997.
Ed loved backpacking in the Cascades, wood working, flying the company Cessna, and helping others. He was known for his enthusiasm, cheerful whistling and infectious grin. He was an honest, capable, hard-working man with a big-hearted, generous nature. His wife of 59 years, Sue, daughter Kiira and son-in-law Daniel, daughter Janelle, son Ken, daughter-in-law Christine, and grandchildren Davis and Brenna all miss him dearly.
Please join us at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Mount Adams Baptist Church in Trout Lake, Washington, to celebrate the life of this wonderful man.
