M. Marie Lokken passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Peace Health Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington. Born on December 3, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Murray and Charlotte (Burton) Young; Marie was 86 years old.
A resident of Vancouver for the last 11 months, Marie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Fairway Village Ward in Vancouver.
She is survived by her son Mark Lokken of Washougal; daughters Linda Clark of Glendale, California and Marilyn Brennan of Hood River, Oregon; brother Burton Young of Arcadia, California; twenty grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
There will be a celebration of Marie's life on Tuesday, July 10th at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Washougal River Ward in Washougal. Interment will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma, Arizona. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
