William Franklin Collard, Sr. passed away on December 14, 2015. He was 93 years old.
Born on August 22, 1922 to his parents Lewis and Althea, William was a lifetime Camas/Washougal resident. William served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. His service included duty in the South Pacific as a crew member of the ship L.S.T. 67. William was a former member of the A.W.P.P.W local #5, and retired from Crown Zellerbach paper mill in 1973.
William is survived by his three sons: William F. Collard, Jr of Vancouver, David L. Collard and Steven T. Collard of Camas; his three daughters: Sharon L. Roberts of Kelso, Patricia J. Woodman of Washougal, and Demaris E. Parker of Camas; as well as 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bette, and his sister.
