Obituary of Kenneth White II

Kenneth "Kenny" Charles White II peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at his home in Washougal. Born on February 18, 1970 in Vancouver, Washington to Kenneth and Carlene (Short) White; Kenny was 42 years old. A lifetime Washougal resident, Kenny graduated from Washougal High School in 1988. He worked as a papermaker at Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Camas and was a member of the A.W.P.P.W. Local #5 in Camas. Kenny was all about his family and friends. He married the love of his life Shannon Tucker on September 25, 1999 and he had a special place in his heart for helping and working with special needs kids. An avid love for animals and the outdoors, Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his quad at Sand Lake. Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 13 years Shannon at home; sons Joseph White of Washougal Austin White and Kaleb White at home; daughter Courtney Durr of Jacksonville, North Carolina; parents Carlene and Kenneth White of Washougal; grandson Kayden Durr of Jacksonville, North Carolina; mother-in-law Cathy (Ron) Brown of Washougal; father-in-law John Tucker of Washougal; brothers Rodney Mullins of Yakima, Steve Mullins of Puyallup, Mike Mullins of Humptulips, Washington, and Les Mullins of Ogden, Utah; sister Darlene Jurgens of Washougal; maternal grandmother Elma Christner of Ocean Park, Washington; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lavern Christner, Charles and Frances White, and Clay Short; and father-in-law Gary McKnight. There will be a celebration of Kenny's life on Thursday, July 19th at 2:00 pm at Gateway Community Church: 1235 E St. Washougal, WA 98671. Viewing will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Brown's Funeral Home: 410 NE Garfield St. Camas, WA 98607.
