I rented a room from Debbie for the two years I attended WSU Vancouver. She was a very sweet and kind lady, I am glad she opened her home to me. She was a great person to talk to, she always gave wise advice. I am saddened to have heard of her passing away. I hope she is happier now, she lived a hard life. I will miss her.

My grandson Ryan lived with Debbie when he was down there in college and I really appreciate they way she took care of him and looked out for him, We knew Ryan was safe while he lived there and she treated him like he was her grandson, I remember she would call his Mom if she was worried about him not getting back when she expected him, she would call Teresa his Mom and make sure he was ok, I got to meet her when she came up for Ryan and Katy's wedding and I sat and ate with her and got to know her better, she was a precious lady and we will miss her. I am looking forward to seeing her at that great reunion in Heaven when we get there, Karen

I was sad to find Debbies death notice. When her emails stopped I was worried. She was such a sweet lady and so kind. My son lived with her for two years while attending college at Wazzu. She was very grandmother like to him. I know she is in Heaven now and rejoicing. I will miss her phone calls and emails as she was such a blessing. I'm sorry for her family as I know you will miss her. Teresa Simpson
