Richard Sloan passed away on April 27, 2016. He was 80 years old.
Richard was born on December 15, 1935 to his parents Irene and Asa Sloan in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and returned to work as a steam pipe fitter. Richard has been a resident of Clark County for the past 13 years, and was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Battle Ground. Richard was an avid reader, and also enjoyed baseball and football, automotive work, and fishing.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Kathryn, his two sons: Richard and Robert, his daughter Rachel, 6 grandchildren, and his brother Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Roland.
A celebration of Richard's life will take place Friday, May 6 2016, 1 PM at the Church of Holy Spirit in Battle Ground.
