Obituary of James Hoffman

James "Jim" William Hoffman passed away July 11 th 2012. James was born 2-21-1925 to Otto and Katherine Irene (Haffey) Hoffman. Jim lived his entire life in the Skamania County area of Washougal, Washington. He worked many jobs from working in the shipyards to logging and later retiring as a mechanic from the Skamania County Road Dept. Jim was an avid cattleman and was never happier than when he was haying in the summer. Jim is survived by his son James E Hoffman (Jodee Hoffman) of Washougal Washington and granddaughter Ashley Hoffman of Camas Washington. He was preceded in death by wife Beverly Hoffman and daughters Jeannie Hoffman and Pattie Hoffman. There will be a graveside service for Jim on Saturday, July 14th at 1:00 pm at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of his life will follow at 6:00 pm at the Cape Horn American Legion Post 122 Hall: 10221 Washougal River Road Washougal, WA 98671. Memorial donations in Jim's honor may be sent to the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
