Harriet Jean Brown passed away peacefully on August 31, 2016. She was 87 years old.
Harriet was born on January 11, 1929 in Jamestown, North Dakota to her parents Rose and Emil Krubeck. She has been a Camas-Washougal resident for the past 77 years. Harriet was a wonderful homemaker, and took great pride in tending to the needs of her family and loved ones.
Survivors include her son, Gordon Brown of Washougal, daughter Sally James of Vancouver, and her three sisters: Dalphyne, Marge, and Mary Jane. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mitchell, and her brother Emil.
Our mother was a special lady with special gifts, and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
There will be no public services at her request. The family would like to thank the staff of PeaceHealth hospital as well as Prestige Care and Rehab for their loving kindness and compassionate care in Harriet's last days.
