Carl Dean Smith passed away at the age of 79 years on October 15, 2016.
Carl was born on December 4, 1936 to his parents Effie and Archie Smith in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He retired as a captain with the Dept. of Corrections in California. He enjoyed genealogy. Carl has been a resident of Washougal for the past 4 years.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy, his son Ron (Gayla) Smith, and his daughter Rachelle (Jeff) Meyer, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Gaye, and his brothers Leroy and Arlen. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Hubert.
