Dorothy Mae Moudry-Brown passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Life Care Center in Port Orchard, Washington. Born on January 4, 1937 in Springfield, Illinois to Sigurd and Josephine (Jacobsen) Brandt; Dorothy was 78 years old. A former Camas-Washougal resident; Dorothy lived the last six years in Port Orchard, Washington. She worked as a secretary for many years in the insurance and legal industries and also owned at one time a flower shop and antique store. She enjoyed traveling, camping, the beach and the ocean. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter Cindy (Bill) Stein of Collierville, Tennessee, step-daughter Sue (Mark) Million of Port Orchard, Washington; brother Sievert Brandt of Vancouver, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Richard "Dick" Moudry and second husband Don Brown; son Ryan Moudry; and sisters Gunda Rink and Jenny Marple. There will be a family gathering at a later date. Vault interment will be held at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas has been entrusted with arrangements.
