Miz Binyon was an amazing teacher of ours when we were knotheaded high school students at Irvin High School back in the late '60s. She loved us and we loved her right back. God bless her family and all who call her "friend". Anyone whose life she touched were enriched in many ways, myself included.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.
Saranel was an exceptional woman. She was the epitome of "good people", and so very keen. I doubt she ever met a stranger.
She wreaked love.
When our paths crossed (El Paso, TX) , she saved my life, and I have never forgotten her. I was wanting to thank her, once more, so I googled her name, only to discover her obituary. Sadly, I'm too late. But, I felt compelled to send my condolence.
Your family is very lucky to share the DNA of such a fantastic woman.
May God bless you all.
Most sincerely,
Laurie M. Curtis

Ah, Saranel! What a spirit you are. Although we hadn't talked in a couple of years and it was even much longer that I last saw you, you have remained in my mind and my heart all this time. To this day I often think of the words you offered me in counsel. I still have that tiny malachite stone that you gave me. It sits in my bookcase in my view right now. Everytime I look at it I think of you. I will always appreciate you that you took the time to appreciate me. See ya on the other side one day.
