Joy Ann Grafton

Joy was born August 21, 1938 in Enumclaw, Washington the daughter of Charles and Mary Tost. She died June 24, 2017 at her home in Camas at the age of 78.

She married Donald Grafton on September 11, 1965 in Enumclaw. They moved to Camas in 1969.

Joy has worked as a special education teacher at Skyview Junior High in Camas since August 1978. She left this career in April of 1998 to be a fulltime grandma. Her grandchildren were her life. She called them “The Great 8” .

Survivors include her husband, Don; daughter, Kelli Watase of Camas; sons, Tony Grafton of Longview, WA, and Dan Grafton of Great Falls, MT; brother, Charlie Tost of Fremont, CA. Her sister, Margaret predeceased her.

There are 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Brown’s Funeral Home on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 10 am until 5 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vancouver.

Burial will follow Saturday at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw, WA.
